Sling is a short run from our base on the Chepstow Road, and its bigger plots make its EICRs a bit different from a town terrace. There is usually more to test: outside sockets, garden and security lighting, and supplies out to workshops, garages and stables. Those outdoor circuits are where most of the findings come from.
An EICR checks the whole fixed installation, indoors and out, and grades what it finds by urgency. We test all of it, including the outbuildings, and explain the report in plain words instead of leaving you with a list of codes. NAPIT approved and TrustMark registered, with a free fixed quote before we start and a fixed price for any remedial work afterwards.
Outbuildings included
Workshops, garages and stables on the same installation are tested as part of the report, not left out of it.
Outdoor circuits checked hard
Weather gets into outside sockets and lighting. On Sling plots that is where most findings live.
Explained, not just coded
We talk you through the report so you know what actually needs doing.
Your questions, answered
Does a bigger property cost more to test?
More circuits take longer, so yes, the price reflects the size of the installation. We look first and give you a fixed quote before booking.
Are the stables and workshop covered?
If they run off the same installation, yes. They are often the most useful part of the report.
How long is the report valid?
Ten years is the usual guidance for an owner-occupied home and five years for a rented one, or sooner if the report says so.
Ready for electrics done properly?
Free fixed quotes across Coleford and Gloucestershire. Certified work, an immaculate finish and a price that doesn't move.
