How much do solar panels cost?
A typical UK home system of about 4kW to 5kW usually costs somewhere around £5,000 to £9,000 installed, and adding battery storage generally adds a few thousand more. Your roof, its aspect and your usage all move that, so we design the system first and give you one fixed written price before anything is ordered.
Is my roof suitable for solar?
Most are. South facing is ideal, but east and west roofs still perform well. We assess orientation, pitch and shading honestly before quoting. We will tell you straight if solar does not stack up for your home.
Do I need a battery?
Not always, but it is often where the payback is best. Without one, the power you make while you are out goes back to the grid. A battery stores it for your evenings. We will price both so you can decide.
How long does installation take?
A typical home system goes in over one to two days, including the electrical work, with very little disruption inside the house.
