Sling sits on the Chepstow Road south of Coleford, near the Orepool Inn, where the plots start getting bigger. Bigger plots mean more outside work than usual: power out to a workshop, a stable block, a garden room or a shed at the bottom of a long garden.
This is work that has to be right first time because of the weather it takes. We run armoured cable properly buried or clipped, protect it, and give the outbuilding its own small board so it can be isolated on its own. Outside sockets and lighting are fitted to stand up to Forest winters rather than one good summer. Everything is tested, certified and priced at one fixed figure before we start.
Armoured, buried, protected
Supplies to outbuildings are run the way they should be, so they last and they test clean years later.
Its own board
A workshop or stable gets its own small distribution board, so it can be isolated without killing the house.
Built for the weather
Outside sockets and lighting specified for real Forest winters, not just to work on the day.
Your questions, answered
How far can you run power down a garden?
Further than most people expect. The distance affects the cable size, which we calculate rather than guess. It goes into the fixed quote.
Do I need planning permission for a workshop supply?
No, but the work is notifiable. We are NAPIT approved so we certify it and notify it for you.
Can you power a stable block?
Yes. Stables, field shelters and workshops are all regular jobs on the bigger Sling plots. Lighting, sockets and its own board.
Ready for electrics done properly?
Free fixed quotes across Coleford and Gloucestershire. Certified work, an immaculate finish and a price that doesn't move.
