Milkwall's housing sits on ground that was industrial long before it was quiet, and a good number of its homes have wiring that has been extended rather than renewed. When adding to it stops being sensible, a rewire is the job that resets the whole installation.
We do full rewires and partial ones. On older village property the finish matters as much as the wiring: cable routed out of sight, chasing that respects the wall it is going into and making good you should not be able to spot. You get a fixed price and a stage plan before anything starts, then a tested and certified installation with the sockets and lighting laid out the way you actually live.
Older stock understood
Extended and altered wiring is normal here. We test what is there before quoting so the price stands up.
Finish taken seriously
Cable hidden, chasing made good. The job should not be visible when it is done.
Fixed price up front
One agreed figure and a timetable, so you know what you are spending and how long it takes.
Your questions, answered
Can a rewire be done in stages?
Yes. If the budget is easier that way we can split it sensibly, usually upstairs then down, and each stage is tested and certified as it finishes.
Do you rewire while the house is let?
It is possible but disruptive. Most landlords do it between tenancies and we will help you plan the timing.
What do I get at the end?
A tested installation, the electrical installation certificate and the work notified. Everything you need if you sell or let the property later.
Ready for electrics done properly?
Free fixed quotes across Coleford and Gloucestershire. Certified work, an immaculate finish and a price that doesn't move.
